By participating in the Royal Canin #TheBetterBowlChallenge ("Campaign" or “Contest”), you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before entering.

  1. Acceptance of Terms
    1. By participating, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
    2. Your participation constitutes your unconditional agreement to abide by these rules, which are legally binding between you and Royal Canin India Private Limited (“Organizer/ Royal Canin”).
  2. About the Campaign: Royal Canin’s 21 day #TheBetterBowlChallenge (“Campaign” or “Contest” ) is run by “Organizer and managed by Ting (“Creative Partner”) , a professional agency for a period of 4 weeks. The starting date of the contest will be communicated to the Participants separately by Royal Canin or Creative Partner. (“Contest or Campaign Period”) .
    The purpose of #TheBetterBowlChallenge is to educate the Participants i.e. the Pet Parents as to how Royal Canin Pet Food if fed exclusively as per the feeding guidelines on the pack would help their pet have a complete and balanced nutrition versus home cooked food. The possible health indicators that a Participant Pet Parent could look for during the Campaign Period are as follows.

    1. Day 1 – High Acceptance & Appetite Satisfaction
    2. Day 7 – Enhanced activity
    3. Day 14 – Improved digestive performance
    4. Day 21 - Shiny & Healthy Skin & Coat

    It is clarified that these are general health indicators for pet parents to look for during the Campaign Period and the individual pet needs and health outcomes / results may vary. This Campaign is not a substitute to seeking a qualified veterinarian’s advice /consultation.

  3. Eligibility:

    1. The Contest is open to residents of India aged 18 years and above as of the start of the Contest Period.
    2. Participants must own at least one pet (dog or cat) and it should be medically fit to be eligible.
    3. Participants need to have a valid WhatsApp & Instagram account
    4. Each participant is allowed only one registration. Duplicate or multiple entries will result in disqualification.
    5. Employees, agents, and immediate family members of Royal Canin, its subsidiaries and affiliated agencies are not eligible to participate.
    6. Participants must agree to abide by these terms and conditions as a pre- requisite for registration.
    7. Participants should confirm the feeding routine they have for their pet prior to participation i.e. if they feed Home Cooked Food (“HCF) along with packaged pet food or only feed HCF to pets prior to participation which would be necessary to confirm eligibility to the Campaign.
    8. On confirming Participation, the Participants agree to completely transition to feeding Royal Canin pet food exclusively to their pet for the Contest Period.
  4. Each participant is allowed only one entry, multiple entries will result in disqualification. Contest Period: The Contest will be commenced upon completion of registration and the same will be communicated to the Participants separately by Royal Canin or Creative Partner.(“Contest Period”) . Submissions made after the deadline will not be considered.

  5. Registration:

    1. To participate in the Contest, users/participants (“Participants/You”) must first register themselves by completing the official registration form provided via https://www.findroyalcanin.com/pages/21-day-challenge (“RC Registration Page”) and submit the required details within 3 weeks from the date of launch of this Contest or any extended timeline, if the Organiser extends the registration deadline.
    2. Registration requires the following information:

      • Participant’s full name, contact details, and address
      • Pet details (species, breed, age and dietary habits)
      • Declaration of intent to participate
      • Information on Medical fitness
    3. By registering, Participants confirm that all information provided is accurate and that they comply with the Contest rules.
  6. Contest Mechanics:

    6.1 Consent and Social Media Presence

    1. Once registered, Participants consent to be contacted via Tele calling/ WhatsApp by authorized representatives of the Organizer or Creative Partner, , after which they will be told more about the Contest and the things to do during the Contest Period.
    2. To be eligible for the Contest, during the Contest Period, Participants need to have a valid WhatsApp & Instagram account, if they do not have a WhatsApp & Instagram account, they will need to create one. Once Participants are on WhatsApp & Instagram, they shall also be governed by the terms of the services of WhatsApp & Instagram.

    6.2 Post-Registration

    1. Post-registration, all 500 Participants will receive the respective Royal Canin food for a period of 21-25 days delivered to their address according to the requirements of the pet they own. The first 100 Participants will be given Royal Canin food free of cost, whereas the remaining 400 Participants will be given Royal Canin food at a 50% discount.

    6.3 Participation Requirements

    1. Participants are required to exclusively feed their pets Royal Canin products as provided by the Organizer for a period of 21 days, as per the feeding guidelines on the pack.
    2. Participants are required to capture photos/videos of their pet and share over WhatsApp/Google Drive with Royal Canin or Creative Partner as will be duly intimated during the Contest Period in accordance with clause 6.4 ..

    6.4 Weekly Updates

    1. Participants must submit weekly updates showing their pet’s progress per point 6.4.c. with Royal Canin Or Creative Partner through either:
      • A 45-second video; or
      • Photographs (minimum two per week)
    2. The aforesaid shall hereinafter be referred to as “Updates” and shall be shared by the Participants with Royal Canin or Creative Partner via whatsapp/ Instagram DM
    3. Once Royal Canin or Creative Partner approves the Update as stated hereinabove the Update must be shared on social media platforms (Whatsapp, Instagram and/or Facebook) tagging @RoyalCaninIndia using the designated hashtags:
      • Main Hashtag: #TheBetterBowlChallenge
      • Weekly Hashtags: (e.g., TheBetterBowlofEnergy, #TheBetterBowlofHealthyCoat, etc.)
      • The Main Hashtag as well as the Weekly Hashtags should mandatorily be shared alongwith a disclaimer “* better in comparison to Home Cooked Food”
    4. Weekly updates must include details of any positive changes in the pet’s health against the health indicators detailed under point 2 hereinabove viz. appetite, energy levels, digestion, coat shine that the Pet Parent notices.

    6.5 Final Submission

    1. At the end of the 21-dayContest Period, Participants must provide:
      • A detailed review of their pet’s experience with the Royal Canin food.
      • Before-and-after photographs/videos highlighting visible positive changes against the health indicators under point 2.
    2. The aforesaid final review must be submitted via the feedback form provided by the Organizer.
  7. Selection of Winners

    1. Winners will be chosen based on:
      1. Engagement on social media relevant to #TheBetterBowlChallenge ;
      2. creativity and quality of the Updates submitted; and
      3. adherence to Contest Rules.
    2. The Winners will be selected by Royal Canin basis an internal judging panel. All decisions made by the judging panel are final and binding. No correspondence or disputes regarding the results will be entertained.
    3. The Participants of the Campaign or any third party shall have no right to question the decision of Organizer in the selection of the winners.
  8. Prizes

    1. Weekly Prize Winners will be announced at the end of every Week of the Contest and Grand Prize Winners at the end of Contest Period via the Organizer’s Instagram IG story .
    2. Weekly prize winners and grand prize winners both categories will receive iPhone 16* (referred to as “Prize”).
    3. Prizes are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
    4. Winners must respond to prize notifications within 48 hours via WhatsApp or as instructed, failing which the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternate winner. The winners will have to bear all costs associated with claiming the Prize.
    5. Organizer/Creative Partner does not make any commitment whether express or implied in relation to the quality, durability and workability of the Prizes.
    6. Organizer/Creative Partner shall not be responsible for the quality, fitness, merchantability, defect or deficiency etc., of the Prizes under this Campaign and no claim or request, whatsoever, in this respect shall be entertained by Organizer/Creative Partner.
    7. The Prizes are personal to the winner and his/her legal heirs shall have no rights or claims with respect to the Prize, neither will Organizer hand over the Prize to anyone else, except the winner/s personally. Therefore, if the winner/s dies before claiming the Prize, such legal heir, or anyone else (if the winner/s is alive) on

      behalf of the winner/s (with or without authorization from the Winner/s) will not be entitled to collect the Prize.
    8. Organizer alone reserves the right to exchange the Weekly Prize/Grand Prize with any other reward of equivalent value as per Organizer’s sole discretion in the event of any unavailability of any prize/grand prize.
    9. These Prizes cannot be combined with any other prizes and will be delivered based on the availability of the Prizes.
    10. The Weekly Prizes and Grand Prize shall be given to the winner subject to compliance with all applicable statutory legislations/ processes /formalities in connection with the Weekly Prizes/Grand Prize and on production of all such documents/papers as may be required by Organizer before the handover of the Weekly prizes and Grand Prize. Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with directions issued by Organizer for claim of Prizes shall entitle Organizer to forfeit the Weekly Prizes/Grand Prize.
  9. Content Rights

    1. By submitting the entries/ updates/ testimonials /content for the Campaign, each of the Participants, including the winner/s, grants to Organizer, consent in perpetuity to use his/ her name, photographs, provided by the participants to Organizer and of the winner/s taken during the Prize distribution in connection with the Campaign, at any time and on any and all media, whether now known or developed in the future relating to advertising and promotion etc., in the form of text, articles, audio, visuals or any combination thereof. If the Participant has collected the Prize based on some incorrect information and the error in his/her information is detected subsequently, Organizer shall have the full right and authority to pursue legal action against such Participant to recover the Weekly Prize/Grand Prize wrongfully collected by such Participant.
    2. By participating, Participants grant the Organizer and its partners the right to use, reproduce, and publish their submitted content (videos, photos, testimonials) for promotional, marketing, and other purposes without additional compensation.
    3. If the Participant wishes to revoke the consent, then this revocation shall be applicable from the date of revocation and any previously published content shall continue to stay in the public domain.
    4. Participants retain ownership of their submissions but grant the Organizer a non- exclusive , loyalty free license for their use.
    5. Participants confirm that submitted content is original and free of third-party claims.
  10. Participant Responsibilities

    1. Participants are solely responsible for the well-being of their pets during the Contest and must ensure that all dietary changes align with their pet’s health requirements.
    2. Participants are encouraged to consult a veterinarian before starting the Contest if their pet has any pre-existing health conditions.
  11. Disqualification

    1. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify Participant(s) if:
      • They fail to follow the Contest rules.
      • They provide inaccurate or incomplete information during registration.
      • Their content is deemed inappropriate, defamatory or offensive or infringing third party intellectual property rights.
    2. A pet with an existing medical conditions shall be disqualified.
    3. A pet which is already fed Royal Canin food entirely
    4. A pet who is recommended to be fed any specific diet other than exclusive Royal Canin food by veterinarian or a pet under medication by a veterinarian shall be disqualified.
    5. Any attempt to manipulate the results, including fake entries or bot activity, will result in immediate disqualification.
  12. Liability Disclaimer

    1. The Organizer and Creative Partner are not responsible for any:
      1. Technical failures, lost submissions, or any issues or delays outside its control, related to WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook or other platforms.
      2. Injury, loss, or damage suffered by participants or their pets during or after the Contest.
      3. Warranty issues, defects, or deficiencies in the awarded prizes.
    2. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Contest without any prior notice.
    3. Organizer and Creative Partner are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a mobile network, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures including any damage to Participant's or any other person's mobile handset or computer related to, or resulting from, participation in this Campaign or the downloading of any materials related to this Campaign.
    4. If for any reason this Campaign is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer and/or Creative Partner which corrupt or affect the administration,security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
  13. Privacy Policy

    1. Each participant’s personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with the participant’s consent provided to the Organizer and its affiliated companies and business units for the following purposes:
      1. to notify the participant if he/she has won any prize;
      2. to conduct, manage, and administer the Campaign including verifying the identity of participants for participation or prize collection;
      3. for consumer research and analysis, promotional, publicity, advertising and marketing purposes; and
      4. for the Organiser and its affiliates to obtain feedback on its products and services.
    2. All personal details submitted must be accurate, complete, and subject to proof at the request of the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or that interferes with the entry process.   14. General Terms

    1. The Organizer reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate the Contest at any time without any prior notice.
    2. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest results through fraudulent or unethical means will result in immediate disqualification.
    3. The Organizer will not entertain request for changes to Contest Prizes or outcomes.
    4. Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform- specific rules.
  15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    1. Any disputes arising from or related to the Contest shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai.
    2. Participants agree that the decision of Managing Director of the Organizer regarding any disputes shall be final and binding.

  17. The Campaign Prize shall not be transferred or sold and will be exclusively for the Winner. Organizer reserves the right to change the Campaign/ Prize at any time without any prior notice or consultation. Organizer reserves the right to alter the terms of this Campaign or terminate the Campaign at its own discretion and without prior notice to the Participant(s) and such alteration of the terms and / or termination, will not result in Organizer incurring any liability whatsoever.
  18. Participation in this Campaign implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Campaign.
  19. Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign is a violation of laws and should such an attempt be made, Organizer reserves the right to seek damages from any such Participant to the fullest extent permitted by law. All Participants and the winners hereby fully indemnify Organizer/Creative Partner, if Organizer and/or Creative Partner directly or indirectly suffer any damages as a result of the participation by the Participants in the Contest and the redemption of the prizes/grand prize by the winners.
  20. These Terms and Conditions are subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, pandemic, lock-downs, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, technical snags, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Organizer and Creative Partner (“Force Majeure Event”). Organizer and/or Creative Partner shall not be liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to the Campaign or the declaration or award of the weekly prize /grand prize as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
  21. Organizer and Creative Partner are not responsible to the Participant or to any other party for compensation as a result of the above-mentioned actions or any other breach of these terms and conditions. It shall be the Participant's responsibility to ensure that a valid name, e-mail address, phone number or any other details required by the Organizer’s page are provided.
  22. The Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with WHATSAPP, FACEBOOK, TWITTER OR INSTAGRAM. They have no association or jurisdiction over this Campaign.
  23. The decision of Organizer about the Campaign shall be final and binding upon all Participants.
  24. In case of any queries/feedback, participants can get in touch with Organizer at feedback.india@royalcanin.com . Organizer’s officials including their directors, officers, partners, employees, consultants and agents are under no obligation to render any advice or service to any Participant in respect of the Campaign.
  25. Participation to this Campaign is voluntary. Organizer/Creative Partner or any of their group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered by a Participant, their pets and/or any third party, directly or indirectly during this Campaign.
  26. Participants expressly agree to comply and abide by all the applicable laws, rules, regulations, guidelines etc., relating to or governing this Campaign.
  27. Failure by Organizer to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions in any manner shall not be deemed to be a waiver of that Term and Condition and shall not give rise to any claim by any Participant and/or winners against Organizer. In case of any dispute or difference in respect of this Campaign, the decision of Organizer, shall be final and binding on all concerned.
  28. By participating in the Campaign, each Participant acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions herein and all related terms and conditions governing the Campaign and the Terms of use on Organizer’s website and the rules to qualify.
